What is Tor?
Tor is free software and an open network that protects users from different forms of surveillance. Different so-called ‘nodes’ direct your internet traffic through Tor to its final destination. Your internet traffic makes a random detour, which makes it very difficult to recover the pages you visit. It is also an effective way to bypass blockages/censure.
