I often get an error message about the server being unreachable.

It is important to use the right protocol for the operating system of your device. For Windows 10 and macOS Sierra, you can use all available protocols. Older versions of these systems have to use PPTP or L2TP. Still no connection? Try using a different protocol or contact our customer service.

You could also try restarting the application if the message keeps popping up. If that does not work we advise reinstalling the application.
